This application does not store speed-test results. There is no account, and the result is calculated in your browser.
What the test sends
A test downloads data from this server and uploads data to it, so those bytes cross the network. That traffic counts towards any data allowance on your connection. The server throws the upload away as it arrives. It does not save the file, and it does not record the download, upload, ping or jitter figures.
The application does not write speed-test results to a database or a log. A hosting provider may keep its own ordinary connection logs, such as the time of a request. Those logs are outside this application, and this page does not control them.
Contact form
Contact-form messages are emailed to the operator and are not stored on this site. The server passes the message to FormSubmit, at formsubmit.co, which delivers the email. This site does not keep a copy of the name, email address, or message.
To slow spam, the server keeps a short-lived count of how many contact attempts each connection has made. That count stays in memory and is not a copy of the message.
Cookies, storage and other parties
This application does not set cookies, does not use browser storage for results, and does not load third-party analytics or advertising scripts. The guides are ordinary pages. Leaving for Netflix or Zoom's own help pages, from the speeds guide, is a normal link: those sites only see a visit if you follow the link.
